· Purchased from On-Line Dealers or Retail Stores: NO CHARGE if the warranty covers both labor and parts! In some cases, only the parts are warranted. If the product was modified or serviced by non E-Z Scooter employees, the warranty is void.
· Purchased from E-Z Scooter: We will match the Manufacturer Parts Warranty with "courtesy" In-Shop Labor (Up to two years) unless product was modified or serviced by non E-Z Scooter employees.

Service Warranty – Mobile & Carry-In Repair:
After repair, your unit is calibrated to original factory specifications and is warranted against defects and workmanship of items repaired for 90 days. Disposable items such as fuses, lamps, non-rechargeable batteries, etc., are not warranted. If the needed parts and labor are found to exceed $200, EZS will require an additional authorization to proceed.

The Product Is Not Worth Repairing – Mobile & Carry-In Repair:
If during service, hidden problems or expensive parts are found to be required that would cause the final bill to exceed the replacement value of the product, your only responsibility will be the cost of a trip charge and/or bench charge.

NEED A WARRANTY REPAIR?
Do not attempt a DIY warranty repair!
Your product is still under warranty but has stopped working. The manufacturer is willing to send replacement parts; however, you need to install the parts. Do you feel unsure about doing the repair yourself? No metric tools?
DIY?  Risks & Consequences
Voided Warranty: If the manufacturer determines that your DIY repair caused additional problems or worsened the initial issue, they might void the warranty. Some manufacturers void warranties if unauthorized repairs are performed.
Liability: If you perform the repair and someone gets hurt due to your mistake, you might be held liable.
Safety Hazards: Incorrect repairs can lead to safety hazards resulting in accidents or injuries. For example, Lithium ion battery fires, or brake repairs that compromise stopping.
Damage to the Product: Mistakes during repairs can worsen the initial issue or cause new problems. This could result in you paying for the cost of parts or rendering your product unusable.
Lack of Expertise: DIY repairs may lack the expertise of a professional that requires specialized knowledge and the proper tools.
Time and Effort: If you’re inexperienced, DIY repairs can take a lot of time and effort.
